Indore: Seven operative of the banned Student Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) escaped from the Khandwa district jail on Tuesday morning after stabbing two prison guards.
The seven undertrials committed the jailbreak at around 3am after cutting through the window railings of jailThe SIMI operatives attacked the prison guards who were a part of a squad of night patrol team and escaped with their service rifles at around 4 am.

Their names are Amjad, Zakir, Guddu, Aslam, Abu Faizal, Ezazuddin and Abid. They were arrested in the last two years in connection with terror activities.
However, according to reports, one of the jail breakers, Abid was arrested near Sarvodaya colony area of Indore by the police.
According to SP (Khandwa) a manhunt has been launched to nab the remaining absconders and in this connection neighbouring districts have been alerted besides a massive manhunt that has been launched.
Meanwhile, he jail minister of Madhya Pradesh, Antar Singh Arya has ordered a high level probe in the incident.
