BEIJING: China Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday said: “China strongly condemns the terrorist attack” on a church in Quetta, Pakistan.
Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying’s expressed condolences to the victims of the attack during her regular press conference.
“China opposes terrorism in all its forms and will continue to firmly support Pakistan’s efforts to combat terrorism and safeguard national stability and people’s lives and property,” she added.
At least nine people were killed and over 50 injured when terrorists stormed a church in Quetta on Sunday.
Officials said security forces intercepted and shot one bomber outside but the second attacker managed to reach the church’s main door where he blew himself up.
