Math Challenge 2018, is a team-based, inter-school, national level competition for students in grades 7, 8, 9 and 10. The competition will run on a live game show format using the latest quiz technology systems, and will have students use tablets and computers to solve math problems and analytical challenges.
There will be a mix of questions in each round, covering a wide range of topics in internationally leading mathematics curricula. Answering these questions correctly will require math concept understanding, as well as problem solving and analytical skills.
Who can participate?
The competition is open for students of class 7, 8, 9 and 10 in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad, and schools from each of these cities are invited to participate in the challenge.
How to participate?
Schools can nominate students interested in the competition by registering here. The deadline for registration is October 31, 2017.
The fee for participation is Rs 300 per student, and the competition will run between January and March 2018.
What will the winners get?
All students who participate in the competition will receive a certificate of participation, which can serve as a valuable asset for their college application in the future. They will also gain recognition as their school’s representative on a national platform.
Winners of the regional and national championships will receive special certificates, as well as a grand mystery prize.
