LAHORE: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa recently inaugurated the Army Museum Lahore which has now been opened to the general public.
A statement by the Inter Services Public Relations on Sunday said the museum was inaugurated by the army chief a few days ago.
The museum depicts the history and heritage of Pakistan through various sections titled Rebirth of a Nation, Quaid and Armed Forces, Shuhada Corner, Nishan-e-Haider Gallery, Life at Highest Battlefield Siachin, Kashmir Corner, Pakistan’s contributions in United Nations, Nation Building Efforts and White of the Flag.
The inauguration and accompanied tour were attended by former joint chiefs of staff committee chairmen Generals (retd) Khalid Shamim Wynne and Tariq Majid as well as ISPR DG Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor.
