Yesterday Facebook owner, Mark Zuckerberg announced that the company plans to invest $750 million to construct a new data center in New Albany near Columbus. This new project will create job for 100 permanent workers. Facebook to Build $750 Million Data Center in Ohio.
The new facility is expected to be completed in 2019. Ohio Governor John Kasichexpressed his views related to the project. He said that this project reflects the state’s desire to diversify the kinds of jobs are available to its citizens.

Ohio, as we know, has a heavy reliance on manufacturing, and we’re for that. But we also believe that manufacturing in and of itself doesn’t get the job done
Ohio Development Service Agency said that Facebook will get $37.1 million estimately in state tax incentive to support this data center.
Facebook already has data centers in Oregon, North Carolina and Iowa. Centers in Fort Worth, Texas and Los Lunas, New Mexico are currently under construction. Few months back Facebook also announced plans for site in Papillon Nebraska by April.
Erin Egan, Facebook’s vice president of U.S. public policy said:

Egan also told that this new data center will be powered by renewable energy. Mark Zuckerberg saaid in a Facebook blog post:
