Around 164 new instances of dengue infection were accounted for in Punjab on Wednesday while no death toll was recorded.
As per the wellbeing division, a sum of 2,550 cases have been accounted for such a long ways during the ongoing year while four individuals passed on from the infection and 612 patients are un-der treatment in various emergency clinics of the region.
The Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department revealed 63 cases in Rawalpindi, 67 in Lahore, 13 in Gujranwala, one each in Multan, Okara, Rajanpur, Sargodha, Toba Tek Singh, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalnagar, Chakwal and Attock, two each in Sa-hiwal,Khanewal, Vehari, Faisalabad and one case has been accounted for in Gujrat.
An enemy of dengue crew under the Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Depart-ment (P&SHD) killed dengue hatchlings at 2,602 spots in the region during a day to day based sur-veillance.
The crew led observation at 414,908 indoor and 110,417 open air places in better places.
The P&SHD asked individuals to embrace careful steps and keep their environ-ment clean
