Jeddah, (PR) : Raja Riaz, leader of the
Tahafoz Khatm-e-Nabowat
Azad Kashmir, Jeddah, has said in a statement that the Khatm-e-Nabowat Conference to be held at the Rangla College Ground on June 29 will prove to be a decisive and historic gathering for the believers across Azad Kashmir, which will become a symbol of the protection, awareness and awakening of the belief in the finality of the Prophethood (PBUH).
He said that Kashmiris living abroad can not be negligent in defending the religious and ideological borders of their homeland. At present, the biggest intellectual and constitutional problem of Azad Kashmir is that Qadianis and other non-Muslim minorities are registered as Muslims in the voter lists, which is an open abuse and an organized conspiracy.
He stressed that before the next elections, new voter lists should be compiled in which a clear distinction should be made between Muslims and non-Muslim minorities. According to him, if an attempt is made to hold elections on old and dubious voter lists, it will not only deal a severe blow to public confidence but will also harm religious pride and dignity.
He further said that we stand by the central leadership of the Movement for the Protection of the Finality of the Prophethood of Azad Kashmir and are fully supporting and promoting the conference to be held at the Rangla Ground. He appealed to all the believers to fully participate in this historic gathering and give a clear message to the enemies of the Finality of the Prophethood (PBUH) that the Muslim Ummah will not compromise on the belief in the finality of the Prophethood (PBUH).
Finally, he strongly demanded from the government, the Election Commission, and state institutions that the registration of Qadianis as Muslims be immediately terminated and new voter lists be prepared in accordance with Islamic and constitutional principles.
