Islamabad, (Parliament Times) : Former President and Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Parliamentary Leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party and Member of the Legislative Assembly Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan said that India is involved in terrorism inside Pakistan as part of a nefarious conspiracy, and efforts are being made to create chaos by carrying out terrorist acts in Pakistan. He stated that the Pakistan Armed Forces will continue their struggle until the terrorists are eliminated, and that the people of Pakistan and the Kashmiri nation stand shoulder to shoulder with the Armed Forces. No one within the country will be allowed to spread terrorism or disorder, he added.
He warned that the terrorists who are massacring innocent civilians will be made examples of, and that no compromise will be allowed on national security. He made these remarks while speaking with various public delegations. He said that for several months terrorist incidents have been carried out in Pakistan according to a planned design in which Afghanistan and India are involved, resulting in the slaughter of innocent people — a blatant violation of international law. However, he warned these elements that they will not succeed in this conspiracy by any means. Operations by the Pakistan Armed Forces against terrorists will continue; they will not rest until the terrorists are destroyed.
He further asserted that India is not only involved in terrorism inside Pakistan but is also committing killings and atrocities in occupied Kashmir, where innocent Kashmiris are being martyred — a gross violation of basic human rights. He demanded that Kashmiris be given their fundamental rights, including their birthright and the right to self-determination, so they may decide their own future. He added that in recent days the occupying Indian forces in the valley have been detaining innocent Kashmiris and subjecting them to violence and torture, which he strongly condemned. He called on international human rights organizations and the world community to take notice of these abuses and take action so that Kashmiris may also obtain their basic rights.
